Minty Fresh Records set to release debut album from Best Girl Athlete

We have been massive fans of these guys since we first heard them, and we've subsequently put them on at a few of our Evo4 events. Now, we're delighted to announce that Best Girl Athlete will be releasing their debut album Carve Every Word through US label Minty Fresh Records.

For those who are a bit unsure as to who Best Girl Athlete are, you might know them better as CS Buchan. However, Carve Every Word is not simply a re-release of CS Buchan material, this is an album with tracks unique to Best Girl Athlete. Tracks you may have once heard under the CS Buchan guise have been re-recorded and mastered to give them a completely new flavour. Not only that, the album contains new material previously unheard before.

We've already had a sneak preview of the finished album and can't recommend it enough.

On 20th July 2013 we hosted "One Night In Rio", at The Rio Cafe. Seven fantastic artists played and it was the perfect cool down to a hot, hot day. Megan D, Nik Garcia, Sophie Rogers, Martin Livingstone, Christine Bovill, Genesee, CS Buchan and Friends

On the 3rd of March, 2011, we organised an event to raise money for Comic Relief - "Get Your Noses Out". Robert Bowden, Dean Tajwar, Bruce Nicol and Rufus & Ben provided a great night of comedy and music.

Evo4Promotions is based in Glasgow. It was inspired by a love of local bands and good company. We do this for the love of fun, not money.
