Claire Campbell

After completing the HND Rock and Pop Performance course at the Glasgow Academy of Music and Sound in 2013, Claire has taken on the Glasgow music scene with full confidence and determination. She has taken part in a range of musical opportunities that have led her to festivals, various venues and recording sessions with different artists and bands she has met on the way.

Over the last few years, Claire has been a member of three bands with various styles. One band is The Motears, a soul/pop band whose sound resembles the likes of Amy Winehouse, Fleetwood Mac and Billy Holiday. Another band, who Claire is still very active with is, the all woman alt-rock band Wolf Ruby whose sound is very similar to the likes of Kate Bush, Muse and Radiohead, with eerie, ambient harmonies and a feminist attitude. The final band Claire has been a member of is the Cairn Rose, a Celtic band who covers many traditional songs such as 'My Love is like a Red Red Rose' and 'Caledonia'.

Apart from her band work, Claire has also recently began writing her own material and performing as a solo artist. Her work has been compared to The Civil Wars who she takes great inspiration from, but also the likes of Laura Marling, Jeff Buckly and even Danny Elfman. She has only performed a couple of times but she plans to make more appearances around Glasgow. However, she attends a very successful weekly jam night in Pivo Pivo in Glasgow that has resulted in her meeting and working with several musicians and has even started carrying out some session work with recording and performing and she is hoping this will progress further.

Kenzie Mack

Kenzie Mack was a late starter to playing/writing and performing music not realising she could sing til she had reached 28 years old.... now it is all she does.
"voice of an angel, you have to hear it to believe in them" Soular power records.

The Changes

The changes are a 4 piece high energy psycadelic rock and roll band. They have been together nearly 2 years playing over 100 gigs and their influences are mainly 60s and 90s.

The Faultlines

The Faultlines have had more line ups than an Iraqi firing squad and were formed from the ashes of JP's band Reno and Khris' left field guitar band The Navigators.

They have been writing and recording a collection of songs over the years. The style of the songs range from the fragile and elusive to the pounding grasp of hope that arrives with the light from each new dawn. Roxy 171 will see the band play an acoustic set.

John O'Donnell (Voice, Guitar)
Khris Timmons (Guitar)
